NOMINATIONs


Works (both original and printed) will be presented in the exhibition hall and participate in the program in the following nominations:


1) Zen of mysteries (mystical symbolism)
2) Zen of magic (magical realism)
3) Imagination Zen (fantastic realism)
4) Zen of an alternate reality (surrealism)
5) Zen of the virtual world (symbolic video art and animation)
6) Zen of space (symbolism in cosmogony / cosmism)
7) Zen of time (symbolism of time)
8) Communication zen (symbolism of human relationships)
9) Zen of stories (painting telling a story / storytelling)
10) Item zen (symbolic talismans and gifts)
11) Personality zen (portraits and silhouettes in Zen style)
12) Zen performance (installations and performances in the spirit of Zen)


AGE RESTRICTIONS:

Only authors over the age of 18 can take part in the International Festival of Symbolic Art "ZEN ART Festival."

 

There are three ways to participate:

1) Personal partiсipation: you visit Moscow and bring artwork in person.
2) Artwork partiсipation: you ship the artwork, we exhibit it.
3) Art print participation: you send a file with your artwork, we print and exhibit it.
Whichever form you choose, all participants have equal rights  in the competition.

The number of entries for one author is not regulated. It is possible to submit a series of works, in this case the series will be considered as one competitive work but the payment of the registration fee has to be done for each individual object or canvas or file.

  3. Personal partiсipation (you visit St.Petersburg City and bring artwork in person): 15 Euros / first object; for the second and next objects by the same author - 10 Euros / object

  3. Personal partiсipation (you visit St.Petersburg City and bring artwork in person): 25 Euros / first object; for the second and next objects by the same author - 15 Euros / object

Discounts for all participants:
5% discount - for registering from 5 to 9 entries
10% discount - for registering from 10 to 14 entries.

Please note the fee for sizes:
 
 
 
For the flat works introduced additional coefficient surcharges:

  • if the size of an art object (with the frame) more than 100 cm and 150 cm on the larger side there is an extra charge equal to 50% of the cost.
  • if the size of an art object (with the frame) more than 151 cm and 200 cm on the larger side, there is an extra charge equal to 100 % of the cost.
  • if the size of an art object (with the frame) more than 201 cm and 218 cm on the long side will be charged an additional payment equal to 130% of the cost.
    All extra sizes must be negotiated with the organizing committee individually.
Total size:
Two-dimensional size of the artwork cannot exceed 75 x 85 inches (192 x 218 centimeters).
Three-dimensional artwork (e.g. sculpture) should not exceed 72 x 72 x 24 inches (184 x 184 x 61 cm).

REGISTRATION - step by step

 

Before starting registration, you must:
1) upload a photo or video file of the work to any file-sharing service: https://ru.files.fm or https://wdho.ru 

(if there is a photo of the author, then also upload it, as it will be published in the catalogue).
2) while uploading files, the file-hosting service will generate links that must be copied

and pasted into the registration form below.
3) if you have already paid the registration fee (see "Organization fee", "Payment methods"), then upload the receipt or

screenshot to the file hosting service and insert the received links into the registration form.
